Principal Scientist
Dr. Marappa Rajendran
Dr. Marappa Rajendran (Raj) is the Principal Scientist at Zapgocharger. Raj received his doctorate from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He has received a post-doctoral research fellowship from National Superconductivity Fellowship Programme, an Indo-French post-doctoral Research Fellowship, and an EPSRC Research Fellowship and University Research Fellowships to carry out research on advanced materials and energy systems. He was a tutor in the University of Warwick (1996-2006). Since 2007 he has been actively involved in applied research in the UK-based high-tech companies in the areas of fuel cells, power semiconductors and quantum electronics components.
CSO
Dr Jonathan Tuck
Dr Jonathon Tuck, the Chief Scientific Officer (CSO), of Zapgocharger is a Materials Scientist who completed his doctorate at the Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford. He has successfully developed patented product and new materials at Johnson Matthey Fuel Cells and at HC Starck, and has taken prototype components through to large scale production.

Stephen Voller C.Eng
Stephen Voller C.Eng, is a serial entrepreneur and the founder of Zapgocharger, who has taken several technology businesses through concept design and then into production. This includes a portable fuel cell charger that is credited as the first CE-certified portable fuel cell system with an integrated metal hydride cylinder. This unit was also used for battery charging and included a 12v DC circuit and inverter to provide 230v AC. The unit also included a 5v USB port that could be used for mobile phones.
